Join in on pioneering procurement AI agents
Since 2019, Pactum has been at the forefront of transforming enterprise procurement with groundbreaking Agentic AI. We are not just automating a process; we are leading the industry in redefining how companies negotiate and manage supplier relationships. Our AI agents work around the clock, collaborating seamlessly with humans to discover negotiation opportunities and close supplier deals at scale. Trusted by over 50 of the world’s largest enterprises, including Walmart and Rolls-Royce, we deliver tangible value, drive agility, and unlock hidden potential.
Ready to make an impact? Join our passionate, global team and be part of a bold mission: to bring trust, transparency, and automation to every supplier negotiation.
As the first in our field, we address novel challenges with novel solutions. Our platform enables large enterprises to manage and monitor negotiations at scale, effectively saving money, boosting efficiency, and strengthening crucial supplier relationships. We’re built on a foundation of deep decision-making capabilities and cutting-edge innovation, which has allowed us to raise over $100 million in funding, including a Series C of $54 million in June 2025 led by Insight Partners. Our technology is proven—with notable achievements like a negotiation and signing carried out entirely by AI agents in just 87 seconds.
About you
Pactum is pioneering a new kind of AI-based negotiation software, solving novel, multi-million dollar problems for the world's largest enterprises. As a Developer Experience Engineer, you will empower Pactum's engineers by creating a world-class developer experience.
Your mission is to make provisioning new capabilities—from local development to production—an automated, intuitive, and lightning-fast process, enabling teams to experiment and ship new features in minutes, not days. Your contributions at this early stage will have a huge impact on the product for years to come. Join our growing team in Tallinn, Estonia and make an impact!
Your daily adventures will include
- Own the developer experience end-to-end. Proactively identify and address gaps in our tooling, documentation, and processes to ensure a seamless experience.
- Systematically reduce friction. Improve how we build and ship code to accelerate feature delivery, enabling engineers to deliver value quickly.
- Create high-quality technical content. Develop "golden path" tutorials, quick-start guides, demos, and sample applications that demonstrate best practices for using the platform.
- Advocate for internal developers. Actively engage with engineers and team leads to understand their workflows and pain points. You will serve as their primary point of contact for the core platform experience.
- Drive the internal tooling roadmap. Gather and synthesize developer feedback to create a data-driven product roadmap for our internal developer tools and platform.
- Ensure alignment and adoption. Collaborate cross-functionally with platform, product, and engineering teams to ensure the tools you build are adopted, effective, and aligned with broader company goals.

What you bring
- Deep expertise in IaC and automation. Proven experience building, scaling, and managing Infrastructure as Code (specifically Terraform) and complex CI/CD pipelines. You must know how to automate provisioning from the ground up.
- Strong back-end engineering background. You can't build a great developer experience if you don't deeply understand the developer's work. You need strong coding skills (e.g., Kotlin, TypeScript, Python) and experience building and deploying cloud-native services.
- Genuine developer empathy. A true passion for crafting exceptional developer experiences. You must be driven to find and eliminate friction for your fellow engineers and find joy in their success.
- Experience building tools with AI/LLMs. Direct experience integrating AI models (like Anthropic's, OpenAI's, etc.) into developer workflows, CLIs, or "agent-based" automations.
- Proven track record in DevEx. You've successfully built and shipped developer tooling, compelling demos, or technical content that measurably accelerated technology adoption.
- Full-stack cloud knowledge. Experience provisioning and managing common cloud services like databases (e.g., Postgres, Spanner), caches (Redis), and message queues (e.g., Pub/Sub, Kafka).
- Evidence- and data-driven approach. You follow not only sound logic and instincts, but measure your own progress and find even better metrics to show value delivered.
As a bonus, it would be great if you have:
- Public-facing developer advocacy. Experience writing blog posts, giving talks, or creating videos to engage and educate the developer community.
- Deep knowledge of platform engineering. Strong understanding of Internal Developer Platforms and core platform engineering principles.
- Experience with our stack. Familiarity with our primary technologies: Kotlin, TypeScript, Postgres, and Google Cloud.
