Event & Experiences Manager
About the role
Pactum is seeking a challenge-driven Event Manager to build and own our events function from the ground up. This is not a coordination role. It is a strategic role for someone who wants to turn events into a durable advantage for brand leadership, executive relationships, and pipeline impact.
You will be responsible for designing and delivering high-quality virtual and in-person experiences that position Pactum as the category leader in agentic AI negotiation. This includes everything from executive roundtables and webinars to large-scale industry events and Pactum’s first flagship company event.
In short, your mandate is to turn events into a consistent, high-impact engine that strengthens Pactum’s brand, builds trust with senior procurement leaders, and supports long-term commercial growth.
What you’ll be doing
Event strategy and ownership:
Own Pactum’s end-to-end events program, defining formats, priorities, and success criteria across virtual sessions, executive roundtables, and in-person industry events.Design and execution:
Plan and deliver events from concept to execution, ensuring timelines, budgets, logistics, and stakeholder coordination are managed with discipline and precision.Flagship event delivery:
Lead the planning and execution of Pactum’s first flagship company event, setting the standard for future large-scale experiences.Brand and narrative consistency:
Ensure all events reinforce Pactum’s positioning, category narrative, and executive-level credibility.Cross-functional orchestration:
Partner closely with Sales, Marketing, Client Success, and Partnerships to align events with pipeline goals, customer engagement, and strategic relationships.Content and amplification:
Work with Content and Social teams to turn events into reusable assets that extend impact beyond the live experience.Speaker, partner, and vendor management:
Coordinate speakers, partners, and vendors to deliver a polished and cohesive attendee experience.Experience quality and standards:
Own the attendee experience end to end, ensuring events are well-run, valuable, and aligned with executive expectations.Measurement and improvement:
Track event performance, gather feedback, and share insights to continuously improve formats, execution, and outcomes.Operational leadership:
Collaborate with or manage the existing Event Operations resource, depending on role seniority, to scale execution without compromising quality.
What we think it takes to succeed
A proven track record owning and delivering company events from strategy through execution
Experience managing multiple event formats, including virtual and in-person
At least 5 years of experience in a B2B startup environment
Strong program and project management skills, with the ability to manage timelines, budgets, and vendors effectively
Comfort working cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Client Success, Partnerships, and senior leadership
A strategic mindset that designs events for brand leadership, relationships, and pipeline impact, not just attendance
High attention to detail and quality, with the discipline to deliver consistently at an executive standard
Clear and confident communication with internal stakeholders and external partners
Experience in a B2B, SaaS, or technology environment preferred
A startup-ready mindset that is resourceful, accountable, and energized by ownership
