Social Media & Community Manager
About the role
Pactum is seeking a challenge-driven Social Media and Community Manager to build how our category shows up, speaks, and engages in the market. This is not a content scheduling role. It is a strategic role for someone who wants to turn social presence and community into a long-term advantage for category leadership and executive credibility.
You will own Pactum’s social channels and community engagement strategy, shaping how senior procurement leaders encounter, engage with, and discuss Negotiation Intelligence. Your work will extend Pactum’s category narrative into daily, visible touchpoints and help build a trusted, informed community around it.
In short, your mandate is to grow Pactum’s influence, credibility, and engagement through disciplined social execution and intentional community building.
What you’ll be doing
Social strategy and ownership:
Own Pactum’s social media strategy across relevant platforms, defining priorities, formats, cadence, and success criteria.Narrative amplification:
Translate Pactum’s category narrative, long-form content, and points of view into clear, compelling social content that reinforces leadership and credibility.Content creation and publishing:
Create and publish original social content, including posts, threads, short-form commentary, and campaign support assets.Community engagement:
Build and nurture Pactum’s community by actively engaging with followers, responding thoughtfully, and fostering meaningful conversations with practitioners and leaders.Content repurposing and leverage:
Work closely with Content Marketing to repurpose reports, blogs, frameworks, and newsletters into high-impact social formats.Campaign and launch support:
Support product, category, event, and campaign launches through coordinated social activity and sustained follow-through.Executive and speaker support:
Support leadership and speakers with social-ready narratives, posts, and amplification around events, reports, and industry moments.Channel discipline and consistency:
Ensure Pactum’s social presence is consistent in tone, positioning, and quality across channels.Measurement and improvement:
Track performance, engagement, and audience growth, using insights to refine strategy and improve impact over time.
What we think it takes to succeed
A proven track record of at least 5+ years owning social media and community efforts in a B2B SaaS environment
Strong editorial judgment and writing skills, with the ability to adapt complex ideas for social formats
Experience translating long-form content and strategic narratives into short-form engagement
Comfort engaging directly with senior practitioners and leaders in a professional community
Strong organization and consistency in managing calendars, publishing, and follow-up
A strategic mindset that treats social and community as long-term brand and category assets
