Solution Consultant (UK)
About the role
Pactum is seeking a challenge-driven Solutions Consultant to help enterprise customers rethink how negotiations are executed at scale. This is not a demo support role. It is a strategic role for someone who understands procurement deeply and can translate that understanding into compelling business cases, credible narratives, and tangible customer impact.
You will work at the intersection of procurement expertise, product capability, and executive decision-making. Your role is to help customers understand what is possible with agentic AI negotiation and guide them toward new operating models that unlock measurable value.
In short, your mandate is to influence how enterprise procurement leaders think, decide, and invest, using Pactum’s platform as the foundation for a fundamentally different approach to negotiation.
What you’ll be doing
Customer advisory and credibility:
Build trusted relationships with prospective and existing customers by developing a deep understanding of their procurement strategies, processes, and challenges.Value-based solutioning:
Design and deliver high-quality, value-driven demonstrations that bring Pactum’s capabilities to life through customer-specific scenarios and clear storytelling.Procurement expertise application:
Engage deeply with customer sourcing strategies, category management approaches, and end-to-end procurement workflows to identify where Pactum can drive the greatest impact.Sales and account partnership:
Partner closely with Sales and Account Management to support new opportunities, deepen existing relationships, and identify expansion use cases that increase customer value.Business case development:
Build compelling, data-backed business cases that align Pactum’s core capabilities with customer priorities and executive decision criteria.Executive influence:
Engage and influence senior leaders by reframing problems, challenging assumptions, and presenting new solution paths grounded in procurement reality.Discovery and workshops:
Lead discovery sessions and customer workshops to surface pain points, align stakeholders, and define solution approaches.Product feedback and shaping:
Contribute customer insights to help shape Pactum’s product direction, solution positioning, and go-to-market approach.Narrative and enablement:
Develop strong command of Pactum’s platform, vision, and people, and communicate that clearly across customer interactions.
What we think it takes to succeed
At least 5 years of experience in procurement, procurement consulting, or solution consulting
First-hand procurement domain expertise from large enterprises, procurement software, or procurement-focused consulting
Deep understanding of procurement processes, sourcing strategies, and supplier relationship management
Strong ability to craft compelling narratives and present confidently to senior executives and practitioners
Comfort analyzing complex data and translating insights into clear, value-driven recommendations
Experience leading workshops and structured discovery with enterprise customers
Familiarity with procurement technology platforms such as SAP Ariba, Coupa, or Ivalua
Strong project and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple customer engagements
A customer-first mindset with a bias toward delivering solutions that meet or exceed expectations
A collaborative team approach with a willingness to share knowledge and raise overall standards
Comfort creating or contributing to video-based content and demonstrations
A startup-ready mindset that is resourceful, fast-moving, and able to respond quickly to new opportunities
